Genesis 39:7, “One day at about this time Potiphar’s wife began making eyes at Joseph, and suggested that he come and sleep with her.”
You are minding your business at work, when all of a sudden another person makes advances toward your life. You desire to walk obediently to the Lord, yet that doesn’t stop their actions. The reality of the world we live in as that Satan has all types of scheme and techniques to get us to fall. In the life of Joseph, Satan attempted to use Potiphar’s wife. Yet, Joseph lived realizing that God was watching. He realized that he was living before an audience of One! If you find yourself in temptation today…you can rest assured that with that temptation is an exit. Yours is to locate the exit and take it. No job is worth losing your integrity and falling into sin. Joseph ran away, and left all the consequences to God. God reminds us to submit to Him, resist the devil and he will flee from us. Resist and watch what God will do in and to your life.
