1 Peter 1:13, “Therefore prepare your minds for action….”
Your mind is a most amazing thing. It is said that our mind can comprehend 50 separate things at one time, even though we may not be aware of what is happening. A focused mind is essential for success in any arena of life. A good coach knows the importance of mental focus on the football field. God, through Peter, reminds us that our minds are significant in running the Christian life. The world draws our mind to a thousand things that have no eternal value. God calls us to pull in all the loose ends of our thinking, and fix our focus on the Lord Jesus Christ, and His Word this day. It is in a right focus that guides us to right living, and a right relationship with the God of the universe. As you prepare your mind for action, victory will come to your life in ways you never thought possible.
