Philippians 4:19, “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
God is never caught off guard by the events that happen or occur to our lives. We may find ourselves “in need” financially, and wondering if God cares or if God will come through. Such was the case with the early church that Paul was addressing. In love and kindness, God through Paul reminded them that He knew their plight, and that all provision was in His hand and He would bring what was needed. We don’t serve a God that has limits or limitations. All power is in His hands. He can cause anyone in the world to know where you are if He chooses. Ours is to lean upon His Word, and trust Him to do precisely what He says. “Supplying needs” is God’s business in the first place. Ours is to live in “full confidence” of Almighty God who loves us and cares for us.
