Philippians 3:21, “When he comes back, he will take these dying bodies of ours and change them into glorious bodies like his own….”
You look in the mirror and you see yourself…continually changing before your eyes. We don’t want to admit the inevitable…but it happens nonetheless. All our hopes, dreams and desires to stop the aging process will not stop it…on this side of eternity. Yet, there is a glorious day coming…when the redeemed of God will be given bodies that will enjoy eternity. Imagine a body that lives for all eternity, without aging or decaying. The Word of God is clear that some day we will be given a body…like the glorious body of Jesus Christ. Our human mind cannot fathom that body….but it will be a body suited for all of eternity…without end. With this truth in mind, we can face the frail limited bodies, with all their limitations knowing that a “Glorious Body” is coming to all who are genuinely redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
