Philippians 4:6, “Don’t worry about anything….”
The very word of God to us regarding our lives is a very direct and pointed word. He calls us not to worry. But how can we keep from it with all the problems, circumstances, difficulties that we face in this life. The answer is found in our “focus”. When our focus is on this life, and the world we live in, we can count on the fact we will worry. But when we turn our eyes on the God who created us, knows us, cares about us, and will meet all of our needs, something strangely happens…we realize that He is extremely personal. God doesn’t tell us not to worry without reason. If He would give His Son to die on the cross for our sins, what is there that He will not provide for us as we turn to Him and trust Him. Call out to Him! Tell Him your needs and watch what He will do. He will always reveal to His personal love to His children…that is what a loving Father does.
