Philippians 4:4, “Rejoice in the Lord always…”
With simple yet sobering words, God calls us to rejoice in Him during every season of life. Is that possible? Absolutely. God would not give us a directive that was impossible to do so. Yet, the truth is, we can only rejoice as we are walking with the Lord and know all His has given to us. You may be challenged financially, and in many other ways but consider what you do have. If you are redeemed, the God that runs the world is your Father. You have an eternal home in the heavens awaiting you once your earthly life is concluded. While you are on this earth, you have God’s helping hand at every turn in life. The God that we serve is above every circumstance that we face in. Because of this, we can rejoice in the Lord.
