Psalms 103:1, “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.”
There is great wonder that takes place when we willfully, deliberately choose to praise the Lord. We are reminding ourselves that there is a God in heaven who loves us, cares for us, and will meet all of our needs. But more than that, it pleases and overjoys the heart of God when He hears us praising Him. Imagine how pleased you would be if you talked with your child…and they shared they had been thinking of your loving goodness…you would be overwhelmed and overjoyed. Our Father in heaven loves to hear us praise Him. As we praise Him, He continually reminds us that He will always meet every need of our lives regardless of what they may be. Because that is the Father’s way with His children. Choose to praise God today, and you will find a joy in your spirit that money cannot buy and the world cannot take away. Bless the Lord O my soul…praise His holy name.
