Matthew 5:14, “You are the light of the world…”
When we are truly redeemed by the blood of Christ, we become different because the very light of God lives within us. Since we have God’s light living within us, we are to shine in every location that we are placed. It is the call of God that today, where God has placed you…that you shine His light into your work place. Light by its very nature penetrates and removes the darkness. Light reveals the truth. You walk into room and turning on the “light” reveals the truth of what is in that room. Light prevents stumbling. Light has the power to guide. The fact remains that if you are truly redeemed by the blood of Christ, the light of God is within you. You will be light today where you work, live and operate. The question that we must ask is this…how brightly will my light shine?
