Psalms 107:22, “Let them tell him thank you as their sacrifice and sing about his glorious deeds.”
Though the words seem so small, and take less than a second to say, the God of the universe, who created us, loves to hear our audible “thanksgiving”. Just as it is a delight to your heart to hear some say “thank you” to you, so does the heart of God love to hear “thank you” from His crowning creation. When we say “thank you” to God, we are acknowledging His Being. It is also a sign of humility and praise. “Thank you” is also a sign of faith. There are many things in life which we can never understand. But a heart of “thanksgiving” is a heart of trust and confidence in the Living God. Each and every time you say “Thank you” to God with an honest heart, you are pleasing and delighting the God that created you. Why not take a few seconds even now and say, “Thank You” to the Lord. After all He is well deserving of all our praise!
