Psalms 50:15, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you and you will honor Me.”
The God who created us is well aware that there are going to be days and times of trouble all along the journey of life. “Trouble” is the companion of the human experience. Because we live in a world where Satan roams the earth, and his demons are actively involved in the world, trouble is going to be a reality in our lives. Not to mention also that we have a fallen human nature. Yet, God never leaves us in the troubles of life. He gives us a divine command and promise. The command is to “call” upon Him. When trouble hits your life, get to God as quickly as possible, and He makes us a holy and divine promise. He will rescue and deliver from our trouble. That is His Word and His promise. Troubles may come to our lives, but they don’t come apart from a loving God who yearns to deliver us…if we will but call on His holy name.
