Genesis 6:9, “Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God.” (NASB)
Does a world of moral and spiritual shifts find your life shifting from God’s eternal truths? In a world of cultural and moral shifts during his day, Noah had a “bent” toward God, and living according to His Word. The times of Noah reveal a most wicked society, but all the wickedness of that society didn’t alter Noah one iota. Wicked times and wicked people, didn’t alter Noah’s WILL before Holy God. Noah was one who increased in spiritual quality before God while others around him decreased. Noah had a “bent” toward God in all his ways. Truly righteous people are righteous regardless of the culture they live in. Culture doesn’t change a truly righteous person, neither can it! If you are a person of righteousness, there is a “bent” toward God with a yearning to please Him more than any other person on the earth. What do our lives reveal today before a holy God? Does He see us with a “bent” toward Him or away from Him?
