There is a type of life that the Lord excels and shows His wonderful graces and goodnesses to…it is a life that is serious about bringing glory and honor to Him with each passing day. The life that is bent toward God yearns to please Him both publicly and privately. It is a life that is serious about walking with God. It is this type of life that the Lord showers with His wonderful blessings. If you see a life that has the touch of God upon it…there is a good reason…that life is serious about honoring God. However, there is another type of life that is filled with all types of problems, difficulties, hardships, and never seems to get ahead in life. It is the life that could care less about honoring God. This life if marked with selfish living, selfish goals and aspirations and gives little thought to God. If you find your life being the latter life, it is a wise person who asks the sobering question, “Do I live to honor God or honor me?” Therein lies your answer to many problems. Make no mistake about it…God takes seriously that life bent on honoring Him and He will esteem that life.
