Psalms 8:4, “I cannot understand how you can bother with mere puny man, to pay attention to him!” (TLB)
Stop for a moment and consider who you are before the God of the universe. We are small, limited, and filled with a sin nature. We often fail God, and do those things that are displeasing to Him. Why in the world would God want us, or desire us? God wants us and desires us because He is a God of amazing grace. Regardless of what we do in our lives or how tragically we fail Him, He desires to forgive us restore us, and bring us into relationship with Him. He does so out of His love for us and no other reason. He loves us so much that He yearns to spend all eternity with us…what marvelous grace. We may be small and puny, but God sees in us people whom He chooses to love. What an amazing God we have!
