Do you ever wonder why God can forgive you, since He is perfect, sinless and completely flawless in any way? This one verse is the answer. God in His majesty and glory, chose to put into Jesus Christ all the sin of all man for all time in all of history. When Jesus Christ died at the cross, you were there from God’s vantage point. The totality of your sins were there…and Christ became your sin and mine. When you placed your faith in Jesus Christ, God poured His holy goodness into us…because of what Jesus did. Jesus became our substitute at the cross, giving us the awesome privilege to have a right relationship with the God of the universe. When you fail and fall, be reminded that Jesus took ALL your sin, and gives us the privilege to walk in freedom with each passing day. What an awesome God we serve.
