ian knows deep within there is the presence of Christ, and there is a desire to please Him. Jesus put it this way, “My sheep hear my voice, I know them and they follow me.” If there is a claim on salvation yet no desire to follow Jesus, then genuine salvation is absent. The call of God is to “check” yourself. False salvation will result in eternal doom before a Holy God.
