Mark 11:25 (TLB) But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive you your sins too. “
When you pray, do you find that there seems to be no answer from heaven? The answer could very well lie in the area of unforgiveness. We deceive ourselves if we think that God is going to overlook unforgiveness and listen to our prayers. Forgiveness is of the utmost importance to the Lord. It was for the purpose of forgiveness that Jesus died on the cross, therefore He calls all His children to forgive others who have offended them. Have been offended by a family member? Fellow church member? A friend that you the utmost confidence in? While forgiveness may come through tears, God has given His children the power to forgive any person that hurts them. The issue is…will we exercise that forgiveness. When we do…we will find the door of heaven open again, and wonderful answers to prayers as well.
