Ecclesiastes 3:11, “He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart,” (NASB)
There is an awareness deep inside of each of us that we are going to live for eternity. How did that get there? God placed it deep within us when He made us. We are aware that there is a heaven and hell. Ask a child and they don’t want to go “down there” referring to hell, because they know deep within it does exist. We will live for all eternity…that is a given from Holy God. The ultimate question is this…where will you live. That is based on what we do with Jesus Christ. To ignore, reject, deny, spurn the gospel of Christ will result in an eternal tragedy for your life. The words of Jesus are these, “unless you repent you will perish.” The only hope for our soul is to call upon Jesus. The promise of God is this…whosoever shall confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord shall be saved.
