Numbers 23:19, “God is not a man, that he should lie…”
The very nature of the God we serve is absolute eternal truth. When God speaks, His words are eternal truth, and they carry eternal realities as well. What does that mean for us? It means when God gives a promise…it will happen. God promises to provide our needs…it will happen. God promises that all mankind has an appointment before Him…that will take place. God’s truth declares there is eternal heaven and eternal hell…we will see either one or the other in eternity. When we open the Holy Word of God…we are reading eternal truth. Some mock it, others deny it…but it is God’s Word. Let us walk in His truth today…knowing that He will come some day take us up to be with Him forever.
