To see God only as a God of love and not a God who has deep anger for sin is to miss the complete nature of God. Yes, God has an amazing love for all humanity in so much that He gives eternal life to all who believe in Jesus Christ. However, God’s wrath upon sin is the precise reason that He offers salvation. Man without Jesus is godless, lawless, and filled with iniquity. God must and will show His holy wrath against all sinful men and women, because His holy nature demands it. God cannot tolerate sin, and thus will punish all men who push away His truth. But thanks be to God that for all who repent, we have been removed from experiencing God’s wrath, because Christ has taken our wrath, our sin payment upon Himself and on his body at the cross. Oh what a Savior…bless His holy name!!!
