Romans 3:22 (TLB) Now God says he will accept and acquit us—declare us “not guilty”—if we trust Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, by coming to Christ, no matter who we are or what we have been like.
There is a reality about every human being on the earth…we stand as sinners before a holy, pure and perfect God. Our flawed and sinful nature locks us out heaven and the glory of God. We stand guilty of sin, by nature and by practice. Worst of all our sins have consigned us to eternal torment. Is there any hope? Is there any way to be removed from eternal punishment? The answer is an amazing “YES”. God announces from heaven that He will declare us “not guilty” if we place our trust in the person of Jesus Christ to take away our sins. In short, God put all our sins in Jesus, and in exchange puts all of Jesus righteousness in us…declaring us not guilty. Only because of Jesus can we be “declared-not guilty” and enter paradise. If you have placed your faith in Christ, rest in the glorious truth that you are heaven bound because God Himself has declared you “not guilty”. Glory to His name!!!
