Psalms 66:18, “If I regard wickedness in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.”
You bow to pray and heaven is silent! You have an urgent need and it seems that God is not interested. What is wrong? The sobering truth is that God will never bypass our heart. If we attempt to pray with wickedness and sin in our hearts, the Lord declares that He will not hear us. We can pray till we die on our knees, yet prayers that are voiced with sin in the life halts God from hearing and answering. Sin is a major deal to God…it sent Jesus to the cross, therefore never think for one moment that God will bypass your sin. It is a major deal to Him. His call is to confess, forsake it and repent and draw close to God. When we do, He will draw close to us, and answers to prayers will flow.
