Colossians 3:13, “Remember the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.”
Do you have a hard time today forgiving someone that is in your life? One of the reasons we struggle with forgiveness is that we tend to forget the forgiveness that God has showered to our lives if you are a child of God. There is nothing that you have done in your life but what God has completely forgiven it. All your sins, no matter how sinister were forgiven at the cross when Jesus died. You stand forgiven. Since God has forgiven you, cancelled the totality of your sins, He calls you and me to forgive others. In truth forgiveness is the greatest gift you will give yourself. When you forgive you untie yourself from the person that hurt you. It is a wise person that makes an intentional choice to forgive others in life.
