There are times in our lives when we completely misjudge God’s love care and concern for our lives. Those times are often in the middle of a crisis, difficulty or tragedy in our lives. Such was the case with Jesus disciples here. The winds were beating against the boat, and they thought they were about to drown. They concluded based on their storm that Jesus didn’t care because He was asleep. Yet, Jesus would awaken to reveal His love for them in a moment’s time. He rebuked the wind and water and said “Peace, be still!” When you are in the middle of your crisis in life, don’t think that He is unconcerned. Quite the contrary, He will come and speak “peace” to your heart in His perfect timing as you wait and listen to Him.
