When a world becomes completely disoriented to the God of all creation, He has His wonderful and sobering ways to gain our undivided attention. Why? Because we are His by creation and He wants our undivided attention and allegiance. There is no a person that can breath apart from God. We cannot move apart from God. In God we live, move and have our complete being. When pestilence and disease hits a land, God wants us to be reoriented to the fact that only He can bring deliverance. In our world today, only God can lead man to find a vaccine for our dilemma. Wise people in time of devastation call out boldly and urgently to the Lord for His help in time of need. However, foolish people believe they have all the remedy in themselves. May we be wise in our day, calling out to the God of all creation for His healing of our land.
