There is not a logical thinking person alive but what desires to have success in his/her life. There is a normal desire in our lives to have a successful life, job, and career. It is God alone who promises success to that person that will live his/her life making choices based with a priority focus on God. God is not playing at make believe when He says He will crown our lives with success through obedience. Joseph in Genesis focused on God, and became Prime Minister in Egypt, second only to Pharaoh. How do we put God first? By focusing on Him, pleasing Him, and honoring Him in all decisions of life…FIRST. When choosing a job ask the question, “Does this job honor God?” Focusing on God first and foremost in the life decisions will result in amazing and overflowing blessings. However, when we opt for “our will first”, then down we will go. It is easy to say we desire to honor God…but do our live decisions reveal what our words say. God gives us a promise…but will we seek Him first?
