God’s Ultimate Judgment

The world is living in such a way, as though there is no such thing as judgment. When you watch the news, and the behavior of those in the world around us, it is as though there is no event as “Judgment” that is going to take place. Man is living as he desires, doing as he desires. We are definitely living in one of the most wicked times of history. However, the truth is, times have always been wicked. In the Book of Genesis, mankind was so wicked in Sodom and Gomorrah that He had to destroy those cities for their overt wickedness. Sometimes, even we as Christians may ask the question, “God, why are you taking so long in judgment?” But the reality is, God’s patience is not a lack of His unconcern, but rather a reminder of His grace.
Think about it for a moment, that person who dies without Jesus will live in a Christless hell, with nothing good to look forward to the rest of eternity. The wicked people that we see around us if they die without Jesus have nothing but eternal doom awaiting them. God’s patience is a reminder of His overflowing and matchless grace. But make no mistake about it…judgment is coming. As a matter of fact, there will be a judgment for the wicked, a judgment for the righteous and a judgment for the angels. All of this appears in Scripture.
