When you are mentally, emotionally, or visually attacked with some sort of temptation, do you feel that you as though you are all alone in the battle of temptation. The truth is, one of Satan’s tricks is to deceive you into thinking that you are the only one that faces temptation to make you feel guilty and miserable, when that is not the truth at all. Satan is a liar and the father of lies, and his goal is to tempt us over and over again to the point of falling, because we are “the creation of God”. In order to understand Satan’s plan and purpose behind temptation, it is vitally important that we back up and see the big picture behind temptation. When we understand the bigger picture behind temptation, we will realize that there is a war going on…not only at us, but there is a warfare that is being launched at all mankind because mankind is the crowing creation of Holy God.
