Genesis 6:9, “He (Noah) was the only truly righteous man living on the earth at that time.”
The announcement from the God of heaven regarding the life of Noah in his day was that there was none but him that was righteous before the God of the universe. The world had been impacted, and altered by its culture, beliefs, and the lurings of Satan. The world was changed by the culture that they lived in. It is reported that there was in excess of one billion people during the world at Noah’s time, yet God only found one truly righteous person. There was only one that was moved by the changing climate of his day. There was only one that stood pure before the Lord God and desire to do right. In a world of a massive number of people, Noah refused to be changed by his culture. What is culture doing in your life? Are you one that is easily changed by culture or will you be one like Noah…that stands firm no matter what happens in the word?
