Daniel 6:22, “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouth, that they have not hurt me . . .”
Do you realize that this day, God’s angels have power to deliver you from danger and even death. Such was the case with the life of Daniel. In the midst of the lions’ den, he knew that the only reason those ferocious lions were not eating his flesh was found in God’s divine protection. Since one angel has the power to slay over 100,000 people, it was no problem for them to protect Daniel. God’s holy world is unchanging. Today, for those who live in reverent fear of God, His angels are sent to deliver us from intense situations and possibly even death itself. Daniel’s sole protection was the angels the Lord sent to his aid. How wonderful to know that we have a world of angels around us as we walk in holy fear and reverence of the Lord God
