Deuteronomy 30:20, “Choose to love the Lord your God and to obey him and to cling to him, for he is your life and the length of your days.”
In the genius of Holy God, He never “makes” us love Him, but His call is a “choice”. Whether you love God or do not love God is a choice of your free will. Yet locked into your choices are tremendous consequences. Today we will live our lives based on our choices. If you choose to love God, then there will be wonderful consequences of peace, joy, happiness even in the most extreme times of life. However, if your choice is to walk away from God in self centered living then yours will be a life of agony, pain, and the blight of God over your life. May we never forget that our choices today carry tremendous consequences tomorrow and all throughout our lives.
