John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…”
In the wonder of Holy God, He came in the form of flesh 2000 years ago as a baby in Bethlehem. Holy, eternal, infinite, invisible God, became flesh and knew all the realities of being locked into a human body. Eternal God was clothed with flesh. Why is that so significant? Because He can identify and understand every reality that we face in life. He was tempted, tried, tested, hurt, rejected, scorned, betrayed, abused, misunderstood, spurned by family and friends alike. When you say, “No one understands what I am going through!” Be reminded that Jesus was wrapped in human flesh, and understands all that you will face in your life. If you are rejected today by friends…Jesus knows what it is like. If you mistreated today by those who are to love you the most…Jesus faced that as well. We don’t have a Savior who wonders what we face! We have a Savior who understands and identifies with every pain we face during our earthly life. But the wonder is…someday all these earthly pains will be no more…all because of His sacrificial death for us at the cross. Praise His Holy Name!!!
