1 Corinthians 6:13, “….the Lord wants to fill our bodies with himself.”
Does is ever cross your mind, that God wants to fill your body with his holiness, purity, grace, compassion and much more. Our bodies were given to us from holy God. Not only has God given us our bodies, but within these bodies, God wants to fill us with Himself. He wants to fill us up with His love, mercy, grace, tenderness, forgiveness. He wants to fill our mind with the things of God. He wants to fill us to the brim, so much so that each and every day is full of loving God, loving others, and joy that is beyond words. Yet, the word “want”, reveals that we have a part in the process as well. God will only fill a life that is willing, surrendered, and open to Him. God will never force you to be filled with Himself. He will not manipulate Himself on anyone. However, if you allow Him to do so, He will put a well of eternal love in you that overflows to everyone in all directions, and your life will bring much glory to the Lord who saved you.
