How you see yourself as you walk through this earthly life impacts your life in a sobering way! To the person who is redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, he or she is a child of God. It means we belong to God and God belongs to us. It means that the God who owns and runs the universe is our Father. As our Father, He is committed to us for all eternity. You will not walk through this day without your Father loving and caring for you. You cannot be in need today and your Father not making for you all His provisions. He, by His Word, protects, provides, delivers, helps, encourages, uplifts, and even disciplines as needed. Don’t allow yourself to think that you walk this way by yourself. That is an impossibility to all of God’s redeemed ones. Rest in the wonder that your Father in heaven sees you today, and He will run to your aid in a wonderful way…because you are a beloved child of His.
