Genesis 12:2 (TLB) If you do, I will cause you to become the father of a great nation; I will bless you and make your name famous, and you will be a blessing to many others.
God made it clear to the life of Abram…if he chose the path of obedience, God would cause great blessings to come in and upon his life. Do you realize that God has not changed in our day and time as well. When God finds a person that is willing to obey His directives, commands, and truths, God will cause (engineer, purpose) great blessings to come in and upon that life. He can operate no other way. While God gave a specific promise to Abram about becoming a great nation, the heart of God is always turned toward those who choose to practice obedience in life. It is impossible to practice obedience toward God and not be blessed…that simply cannot happen. Choose to obey God as a lifestyle and watch God bring His overflowing blessings in and upon your life. You will be amazed at what He does. Put Him to the acid test.
