Psalm 4:4 (TLB) “Stand before the Lord in awe…”,
When was the last time you stopped and simply thought of God? The God of the universe is eternal, meaning He has neither beginning or ending of days. He is unchanged and unchangeable. There is nothing that has changed of God, neither can He chance. His being nature remains eternal constant. He is eternally great. All power, energy and might are in His being. He never has more power or less power. Why? Because His being is eternally powerful. He loves us eternally and unconditionally. There is not one thing that we must do today for God to love us. Because His love is unconditional, meaning that there is no condition that we must meet for God to love us. He is a God of complete forgiveness. Regardless of what we have done in life, the God that created us, loves to forgive us of all our sins. Not because He has to, but because He wants to. He yearns to forgive us, and cleanse us of every molecule of sin out of the overflow of His grace and goodness. No wonder the psalmist declared, “stand before the Lord in awe”. When you turn your eyes on Jesus, it is amazing how the things of this world truly grow strangely dim.
