Revelation 22:20 (KJV) He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Of all the words that Jesus could have said and left to His disciples in Scripture…these are the words that He left for us to remember as His last words in Revelation, “Surely I come quickly”. Make no mistake about it, the coming of Christ is settled and finalized in the eternity of God. The day will come when Christ will return and receive His church unto Himself, and rapture His church to Himself. The time will also come when God will destroy this world with a fervent heat, and this world will be done away with. The time will come when all mankind will bow the knee to the Lord Jesus Christ, from every tribe, race and nation, to the glory of God the Father. Regardless of what we may believe…Jesus announces His coming will be quick, sudden, and unexpected. How wonderful for the redeemed! How saddening for the lost! May we live today in light of the fact…that our Lord is coming from heaven…glory to His name!!!
