Psalm 56:8 (TLB) You have seen me tossing and turning through the night. You have collected all my tears and preserved them in your bottle! You have recorded every one in your book.
The weight and problems of life are sometimes so overwhelming that our night’s sleep is turned into tossing and turning over and over again. We can’t rest, we can only lay and worry, toss one way and then another, and then worry some more. If you think that you are tossing and turning in worry all by yourself, then you are completely disoriented to the amazing and overflowing love of the Father toward your life. Not one turn on your bed goes undetected by your Father in heaven. He sees all the tears shed, and they are preserved in a bottle. It is a reminder that God sees all our suffering, and will in His wonderful timing come to our rescue. God didn’t bring us this far to leave us. He didn’t pick us up to let us down. He didn’t build His home in us to move away. God is watching you this very moment if you are in a season of suffering in one way or another, and watch how He in love comes to your loving rescue.
