The reality of walking with God and following Him intimately and closely, may find you facing the reality that others desire to hurt you and harm you. Why? Because fallen sinful man cannot stand a person who submissive to the Lord and doing His will. In the work place, others may desire to see you fired, to remove your witness. The reality of life is that we will find ourselves in need of “rescue” from time to time. Such was the life of David. He walked with God but Saul desired to kill him and end his life. Never hesitate in calling out to the Lord for rescue. He knows you intimately and He knows how much you desire to honor Him. If you are honoring God with your life and lips, you can count on the fact that He will run to your aid in your time of need. In fact, the harm others meant for you may boomerang back on their own life. This you can know for sure….God always comes to the aid of His children.
