Isaiah 1:18 (NASB) 18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool.
Do you feel as though there is no hope for your life? Have you walked headlong into a life of sin, wickedness and ungodliness? For many that is the reality of their lives. Yet, the God of Scripture, the God who made us announces from heaven that there is hope to the heart and life that is willing to own up to and admit his or her sin. God declares to the person that is willing to be honest, that there is not only forgiveness, but purity, wholeness, and a life of wonder and purpose when we are willing to take ownership of our sins before Holy God. There is no sin so deep but what the blood of Jesus Christ is deeper still to offer complete and total forgiveness. Whatever the name of the sin may be, there is a God is heaven who loves and longs to forgive. But the question is this…will we “come” to God and allow Him to cleanse us of our sins? Will we throw our lives on the mercy of God. Every person that has genuinely and authentically come to God for forgiveness has never been disappointed, for He is a God filled with love, mercy and complete forgiveness to all.
