Genesis 6:9, He (Noah) tried always to conduct his affairs according to God’s will.
God has a sobering way of exposing us in the culture that we are living in. In the days of Noah, the culture around Noah was a culture that treated God with indifference. Mankind desired all types of wickedness and lived according to his own heart’s lust. The culture was completely wicked with the exception of one man. God has a way of proving and testing our lives by the culture we live in. Noah proved himself righteous, in spite of a culture that didn’t desire God. God exposed the heart of all mankind, but only Noah’s heart was not willing to bow to the culture he lived in. Culture will reveal our heart. We will either prove to have a heart to follow culture or we will prove to have a heart to follow God. Noah proved what type of heart he had. What type of heart does God see in you and me today?
