Psalm 50:15 (NASB) Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me.”
There is a “day of trouble” that comes to each of our lives from time to time. It may come suddenly and unexpected but it comes nonetheless. Read through Scripture and you will discover God’s people experienced their “day of trouble”. Joseph experienced his day of trouble when his brothers threw him away. Job experienced his “day of trouble” when he lost is possessions and his family through death. The fact is, God’s people are not immune from troubles in life. However, God gives us a promise…when we call on Him in our day of trouble He will run to our rescue. He will deliver us out of trouble and show us His power and might. God removed Joseph from the pit and took him to the palace. He restored to Job twice what he lost. Call unto the Lord in your day of trouble and watch Him come to your rescue because He loves you deeply.
