2 Timothy 1:4, “…My only purpose in life is to please Him.”
When you look deep into your heart, what is your primary purpose of life today? Our purpose in life and living carries great weight to everything we do in life. If your purpose is to have money, everything will revolve around the prospect of money in one way or another. In the heart of Paul, there was one ultimate purpose of life…it was to live day by day pleasing the God who loved him, redeemed him, and showered him with grace. If you live today with a heart bent on pleasing God, you will be amazed at how liberating life becomes, and how much of a blessing to others God causes you to be. A focus on pleasing God will keep you focused in the midst of a wicked and ungodly world. In the end you will be richly rewarded for a life well lived…because you have lived to please the Lord. The masses could care less about living to please God…but please God anyway and watch Him shower your life with blessings.
