Philippians 4:19, “And my God will supply….”
There is in the heart of mankind the potential to always doubt the care and the kindness of God. Paul knew such reality was present among the people that he was addressing. Yet, it is the very nature of God to come to the rescue of His children and little ones. The nature of God is eternal, and He cannot change. He has for all eternity been extremely personal. He was personal at the cross when our sins were nailed to the body of Jesus Christ, and God is personal in His supplying of our needs. All we must do is examine a time in our lives when we were in need, and we saw the hand of God come to our rescue. It might have been at the last hour…but He came through. God cannot ignore you, if you belong to Him. You are His son or daughter through Jesus Christ, and no loving father ignores his children. God will supply your needs. Run to Him, tell Him your needs. Be specific…and watch what God does. He loves to reveal His love, might and power to us, all because He loves us.
