The God of heaven gives one word to those who refuse Him, His grace, His mercy and His amazing love… they “perish”. The wicked may amass a fortune on this side of life. They may look as though they have the world at their beckon call. Yet, in the end they “perish” and live for all eternity doomed and damned by the God they rejected. Yes, the wicked may gain fortunes that startle the mind, and become a household name to millions the world over, but all of that vanishes at their death. They live for all of eternity “perishing” and “paying” for their sin of rejecting the God of the universe and rejecting Jesus Christ the only One who could save them. If you have a tendency to be envious of what the wicked may have…consider their end and price they will pay for rejecting the God of the universe.
