Philippians 4:8, “…Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right.” There is a battle going on each day of our lives, and it lies in the area of the mind. Why? Because it is your mind that directs the entire course of your life. If Satan can get into your mind, alter your thinking, then down goes your entire life. It is for this reason alone that we need to take seriously what we put into our minds. Many people will not guard their minds, and the evidence of a fallen life will soon follow. But for that person who fills his or her mind with true things, good things…they are the ones that experience a life of joy, contentment tranquility, and a life without overwhelming feelings of guilt. The only things true, good and right are found in the Lord. Think upon Him, love Him, and you will be amazed at what He fills your life with…with each passing day.
