If there is a need for today, it is for “revival”, a genuine returning of God’s people to obedience to the Living, Eternal, Holy God.  The world that we live in finds many who claim the name of Christ to be living much like the world.  Many who profess Christ, and even are leaders in churches are “caught” in sinful activities, and their stories are aired via the news media.
