How much stock do you personally place on prayer in your own life?  Do you really believe that God will hear from heaven when you pray and bring about wonderful mighty answers to prayer?  The reality in the lives of so many who name the name of Christ is that they simply don’t believe prayer works any more.  They have prayed for something for a season of time, and it seems like God is not interested in answering their prayer, and so they go on their way, coming to a conclusion that prayer isn’t really all that powerful.  But such thinking is not in line with Scripture.  As a matter of fact, God makes it abundantly clear that there is awesome power in prayer.  God further makes it clear that He will hear and answer our prayers when we pray.
